Germany, One basic model with various options.
Introduced in 1968, the Kodak Instamatic Reflex was originally sold with either a 45mm/f2.8 Xenar lens for US$144.50 or with a 50mm/f1.9 Xenon for US$249.00. Since the existing ‘Kodak Retina S-series’ range of lenses could also be used, a body only version was available for US$162.00.
In addition to the two standard lenses a 28mm/f4 Retina-Curtagon, a 90mm Tele-Arton and a 135mm f/4 Tele-Xenar were made for this model.
In 1969 the all black model was added to the range and both the silver and black editions now had the addition of an accessory shoe above the CdS light meter sensor.
