Start by opening the rear film load door. Locate and remove the two screws to the outside side of the hinge end of the camera body (Fig. 1).

Ease the rear door and the side plate (Fig. 2) forwards until the side plate detaches from the lens surround
and then separate the door from side plate where the strap bracket is attached (Fig. 3).

Next, gently prise the circular cover plate from the top of the winder knob to expose the knob retaining screw (Fig. 4) and remove the knob complete with ratchet mechinism.

Now locate the first of two screws holding the top plate in place (Fig. 5). Remove the screw.

Turn camera upside-down to reveal the second screw located inside the film chamber (Fig. 6) and remove it.
